9 more weeks!

Just wanted to give an update on baby Goodman. We are counting down the weeks until he blesses our lives. He is growing rapidly; about 3 1/2 pounds and 17 inches. He has the hiccups at least once a day. It's cute at first and then... Mom and Dad have begun their parenting classes. We learned how to feed, bathe, change diapers, and stop the baby from crying instantly! That's right, INSTANTLY. Come on parents, all you have to do are the 5 S's: swaddle, side, swing, shh, and suck. Your baby will quiet down in a snap. If you can't sense the sarcasm it's there. I can't wait to see this theory put to the test. We were also given a tour of the maternity ward. Walking into the delivery room was quite a reality shock! And we learned that the average labor and delivery lasts about 14 hours. Let's just say Rob and I did not sleep well that night. Other than that, everything is going just fine. Dad, mom and baby are all healthy.
