Playtime

Whether it's...

bouncing with the rain forest animals...

playing on his belly...

being silly...

bouncing in his bouncer...

or just hanging out...

Andrew is always finding something fun to do. Now that he is getting older he is able to do a lot more "playing". We love being at home and entertaining ourselves. Being a kid is the best! And being a mom of a kid isn't so bad either!

Solid Food

Andrew started on solid foods, rice cereal. At first he wasn't quite sure what to think and then he really started to enjoy it but he kept trying to suck on the spoon. Of course it made a giant mess. He became a little frustrated toward the end I think because it wasn't happening as fast as a bottle feeding. There seems to be a new adventure everyday when raising kids.

Open wide!

Mmmm...this stuff sure is good!

I sure am enjoying this.

Do you like my beard?

All clean...that was the best meal I've had so far.

Knott's Berry Farm

We were invited by the Ramirez family to go to Knott's Berry Farm. We got to meet Snoopy and eat funnel cake! Andrew got to see the roller coaster his dad went on and boy was it loud and scary. We had a great time! Not quite sure what to think of the giant white dog.

It was a long night. Andrew slept better than ever!

Big Celebrations!

Our family got together over the weekend to celebrate a few things. 1)Rick's BIG 30th! 2) Melissa's 28th 3)Labor Day 4) Kenny going to Japan. Rick and I were born the same day but different years. That's right, I was a birthday present for Rick on his 2nd birthday...who could ask for something better?! Happy labor day to everyone. I hope you all enjoyed the HOT HOT weather we had here. And sadly (for me at least) Kenny is off to Japan for 6 months to better his career. What a great opportunity for him. We will definitely miss him while he's gone but we're so excited for this experience.

Karen's famous birthday cake. mmmmm! Do you notice how big Rick's part of the cake is and my name doesn't even fit. I guess I'll let it slide this time since it's his 30th. :-)

The birthday boy and girl.

Uncle Kenny and Andrew sharing some quality time together. They won't see each other again until Andrew is walking. Good luck in Japan Kenny!
