We're Having a Boy!

We are happy to announce that we are having another boy! Everything is going well. Baby and Mommy are growing and getting bigger every week.

Another profile with his hand on his forehead.

He's sucking his thumb!

Making the announcement.
It's a boy!!

Swim Lessons

Andrew and his friend, Gianna, are taking swim lessons together. It's going well...for the most part. Gianna is a little scared of the water and cries which makes Andrew cry. Otherwise, he enjoys it.

Andrew is waiting his turn.

Time to swim!

Practicing blowing bubbles.

The back float.

Playing "Humpty Dumpty" and getting used to jumping into the water.

Sleeping Little Boy

Nothing more precious than a sleeping child.

Mammoth

For our camping trip this year we went to Mammoth. We stayed at a campsite called Twin Lakes. We enjoyed staying in our camper, hiking, site seeing, and being out in the beautiful scenery!
Andrew enjoyed hanging out in the camper coloring, playing playdough, and playing games.

This is the Twin Lakes, the lake we camped on.

We took a bus down to Devil's Postpile.

Looking at bear skin...yew!

Devil's Postpile.

Rob and Melissa at the Postpile. Andrew was lying on a bench with a fever at this point. He didn't feel well.

Sick little boy playing in the hollow tree stump.

Mommy and Andrew playing in the camper.

Andrew has been learning to work the camera. This is a self-portrait.

The campsite we stayed at had nice, hot showers so we took advantage of that!

Andrew and Gianna being silly!

We went to Yosemite one day. This is Andrew playing in the Ahwahnee Hotel field.

Andrew and Daddy hanging out by the Merced River.

Big tree roots and Little Andrew.

Andrew found a bear friend.

We took a hike to the bottom of Yosemite Falls. We didn't stay long because Andrew said, "We've gotta go. It's cold and I'm wet." So we left.

Hiking on the trail.

It was fun exploring and finding things. Andrew collected rocks on our trip but this one was a little too big.

More exploring...

On the drive home from Yosemite we saw bear.

Same bear eating in the field.

Hard to see but there are 4 more bear in this picture. It was an awesome sight!

Half Dome in the background.

We stopped by Tenaya Lake.

We also saw lots of deer on our drive back to Mammoth.

On the way home from Yosemite, we hit a swarm of moths. Absolutely disgusting! Funny thing is, when we pulled up to the gas station to clean the window, the entire gas station was full of people doing the same thing.

It's hard to tell but this is a Bald Eagle. It was beautiful!!

Enjoying the sites around our campsite.

The big fisherman. He didn't catch anything.

Daddy teaching Andrew how to fish.

Full speed ahead!

Gianna and Andrew on the pontoon boat.

Gianna watching Andrew fish. Andrew became a VERY good fisherman...even though his pole can't really catch.

Andrew likes to get snugly next to the fire.

The Minton family and Goodman family around the campfire roasting marshmallows. Every year we have a chili cook-off...the Goodmans won this year!!

Andrew LOVED being out on the lake!

We took a boat ride around the lake we camped on. There was beautiful waterfall that we could listen to from our campsite.

Daddy and Andrew rowing the boat around the lake.

Row, row, row, your boat.

Walking around in Mammoth Village.
"Grrrrrr!!"
We had a very fun trip but it was nice to get home!
