"I'm so proud of myself. Now what do I do?"
"Ha ha ha! Life's good!"

I had to sneak this one in here. Notice which picture he is smiling in! :-)

Andrew took part in his first parade. All the kids decorated their bicycles and we decorated our stroller with flags and balloons.
Hangin' out with his friend Gianna.

Watching the fireworks. Andrew slept through most of it. What a great day!
Andrew says, "Oh my gosh, look at this cute girl. I'm so excited to talk to her. What should I say? I'll start with something simple. Hi."
Gianna responds with a little flirtatious move, "Hello there." The two talk back and forth for a little while. Nobody really understands what they are saying. But Andrew must have said something wrong...
Hopefully not all conversations with girls go this way. He's learning.

The first few weeks Andrew was a very good sleeper at night. Then it happened...the long, rough nights began. He would wake up every hour or so complaining about something. We tried all the tricks, feeding, burping, changing, etc. We couldn't figure it out. One night Rob says, "Let's try putting him in his swing." So we went downstairs and put him in the swing and what do you know, he slept great. So Rob and I slept downstairs a couple of nights with Andrew in the swing. The couch isn't as comfortable as our bed so we decided to bring the swing upstairs. Now the swing sits in the place of the basinet next to our bed. This is where Andrew sleeps every night, comfortably! At first I thought that this couldn't be good for a baby to be sleeping in a swing. Then I thought again...he's sleeping, I'm sleeping, we're happy, so who cares! Whatever works is the motto around here.

Andrew met his great-grandma for the first time. It was a very special moment. One he will not remember but the rest of us will forever. She is my grandma, my mom's mom. We are so lucky to have four generations in our family. Great-grandma could not stop commenting on how little he is. She kept staring at his tiny feet. What a special day!
Grandma and Grandpa, a.k.a. "The babysitters"!! Rob and I were able to get out of the house for a few hours and go to the Angel game. It was so nice to get out after being at home for 3 weeks, but it was very difficult to leave Andrew. We had a great time at the game but it was so nice to come home and hold the little guy!
Thank you Kristen, Noni, Megan, and Brandee!
Grandma Diane, Grandma Karen, and Grandma Patty
Great-Aunt Wendy and Great-Grandma!
Thank you for coming in to town auntie Amanda!
Thank you to everyone for a wonderful day!
The nursery is coming together! Thanks to family and friends' Christmas gifts, we were able to start putting the room together. We still have a way to go, but it's exciting seeing it come together. Daddy decided to make it a sports theme, "Baby All Stars". With Rob's love of sports, this little boy is going to grow up knowing about all the great teams...Lakers, Angels, Eagles, etc. Poor thing is going to be bombarded with sports, sports, sports. Let's hope he enjoys them as much as daddy!
